After having suffered its first loss of year, the Ohio Condition wrestling team may be with out them of their senior leaders.

Ohio Condition announced that senior Joey McKenna, no. 2 wrestler in the united states at 141 pounds, is day-to-day by having an undisclosed injuries.

“The medical staff stated it wouldn’t maintain his welfare to wrestle a few days ago,” Ohio Condition assistant?coach Tervel Dlagnev stated.

Dlagnev noted McKenna will face Cornell sophomore Yianni Diakomihalis, no. 1 wrestler at 141 pounds, on February. 22 and didn’t give any timeline for his status continuing to move forward.

This year, McKenna is undefeated having a 14- record. He owns a job record of 93-8.

Based on the depth chart, Ohio Condition redshirt sophomore Clay Ragon could be next lined up if McKenna is not able to visit a few days ago. Ragon is 6-6 around the season with two wins by technical come under his belt.

Ohio Condition will face Illinois on Friday in Champaign, Illinois and Northwestern on Sunday in Evanston, Illinois.
