No.11 Ohio Condition men’s lacrosse team (3-) will have its first game at Ohio Stadium of year on Saturday because the Buckeyes make an effort to stay undefeated once they undertake Bucknell.

“We’re happy to be home,” Ohio Condition mind coach Nick Myers stated. ”Having the opportunity to play at Ohio Stadium is extremely special. We’ve only a lot of chances left, and our seniors appreciate that, and we will attempt to take full advantage.”

Redshirt junior attack Lukas Buckley stated playing in Ohio Stadium is exciting, but doesn’t change how a Buckeyes are approaching the sport.

Ohio Condition is originating off victory against UMass that saw the Buckeyes emerge hot within the third quarter and dominating the 2nd half, outscoring the Minutemen 5-1.

Buckley stated there’s not just one player leading the Ohio Condition offense to success.

“We’ve spoken a great deal about as being a faceless unit,” Buckley stated. “It makes no difference who’s putting the ball at the back of the internet, as lengthy once we do it.”

Senior defenseman and captain Matt Borges won Big Ten Opponent each week, the 2nd straight week he’s earned this recognition. Borges caused two turnovers hanging around, making them first around the team with four turnovers around the season.

Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Josh Kirson earned Big Ten Specialist each week in addition to being named towards the USILA National Team each week after stopping a job-high 17 shots. Eight from the 17 shots were held in the 3rd quarter alone to seal the Minutemen within the quarter.

“I thought a week ago at UMass was a good example where we remained the program,” Myers stated. “We are likely to chase our best once we are at this time, that’s all are going to.”

Bucknell (1-2) is originating off a detailed loss towards the College of Richmond. Although the Bison got hat-methods from both sophomore attack Tommy Sopko and newcomer attack Matthew Barkauskas, the Spiders outplayed the Bison within the 4th quarter to win.

Barakauskas and senior midfielder Reed Malas are tied which are more points on Bucknell this year with seven points each.

The champion could come lower towards the better faceoff play as Bucknell, and Ohio Condition have discovered success in faceoffs this year. .

Bucknell has senior faceoff and midfielder Jarett Witzal with a .545 faceoff percentage and it has formerly won Patriot League Faceoff Specialist each week.

“They perform a many things well within their faceoff unit. Particularly their faceoff man has a number of moves, and so i believe that will pressure us to possess some adjustments all set to go,” Myers stated.

Myers stated the faceoff is one thing Ohio Condition takes lots of pride in too, winning 58.4 % of faceoffs to date this year.

Ohio Condition will require on Bucknell at noon Saturday at Ohio Stadium
