Johnnie Dixon grew to become the 3rd Ohio Condition wide receiver signed with a team, joining the Houston Texans being an undrafted free agent.

Former Buckeye receivers Parris Campbell and Terry McLaurin selected within the second and third round through the Indiana Colts and Washington Redskins correspondingly.

Dixon?ˉs fifth and final season for that Buckeyes was his best. He was named a group captain and hauled inside a team third-best 42 receptions and eight touchdowns while tacking on the career-high 669 yards.

Despite knee injuries restricting Dixon to seven catches and 55 yards combined for his first 3 years in Columbus, his 16 touchdown grabs previously two seasons put him at No. 11 all-time among Ohio Condition wide receivers.

Three of Dixon?ˉs eight touchdowns earlier this season arrived Ohio State?ˉs last three games, because the Buckeyes defeated Michigan, Northwestern within the Big Ten Championship and Washington within the Rose Bowl.
